Brats World of ROCK

KADENSE is Atlanta's newest edition to the local Alternative Rock scene. With hard hitting melodic drops and dynamic vocal hooks, its just a question of how long Atlanta can keep hiding its best kept secret in years. With their single, "STAIN", already receiving radio play, the band hopes to spread their songs across the country through national and regional touring coming up in 2009.

 The crowd cheered and danced with their hands in the air throughout most of Little Boots' 40-minute set, and booed in disappointment when she announced she would be playing her last tune. "This is a little song I can't quite fathom," she said when introducing her hit 'Stuck On Repeat', which got the whole crowd hopping.

'RockScar' has taken 2 years to complete. Written, produced and engineered by the band themselves, KIK's 'RockScar' is influential, no doubt about it. Delivering a blend of rock guitars and dirty synths, delivered in a way that is totally unique. KIK also believe that a bands look is as important as the music, they have a sleazy rock n'roll glamour about them that transcends all genres.

 ATO (the record company) sent us an LP copy of Sea Sew to approve before they press the vinyl version for distribution. We found one of those proper, wonderful and sadly diminishing record shops to give it a listen.
If you're passing through Seattle, make your way to Easy Street Records. They are the kind of music shop I grew up going to, they may not be around too much longer and they could certainly use your support.

 Austin Texas Astronaut Academy’s music is at once both familiar and fresh. Memorable melodies, engaging hooks and sing along choruses are AA trademarks and what sets them apart from most acts today. Together for only a little over a year, already being featured in several national and international music publications with quotes, “sound’s like a happy accident between Seattle grind and 90’s brit pop”, “indy rock at it’s very best”, “technicality of muse with the sleaze of bowie”, having just been endorsed by Fender guitars and amps, AA is set to rock it to the top and should not be missed.

 The members of Society Red are taking no prisoners as they tear through the rubble that is left of the Music Industry. Comprised of former members of Puddle of Mudd, Shinedown, and Burn Season allowed this band to skip many of the long and tedious steps that most new bands spend years facing.

ZallaNayver is an unusual beast. Rising from the ashes of the UK triphop scene, they come with there own unique brand of the genre: Tom Race
